Jude Onwudili

My name is Jude Onwudili, and I am a parishioner at Our Lady and St Kenelm Catholic Church in Halesowen, since August 1997, when my family relocated to Halesowen from Leeds.

In my daily life, I am a Professor of Sustainable Fuels and Chemicals in the department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnologies at Aston University, Birmingham (UK) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.

My family and I are happily involved in the life of our church. My wife and I support in the church’s choir while our three children are altar servers. I have always been eager to support the church in any way that I can and when the opportunity to join the Board of School Governors came, I was only too happy to accept.

I joined the Board of Governors without any previous experience but wanted to contribute, in any way possible, to the continued success of our already successful School (Our Lady and St Kenelm Catholic School, Halesowen).

I hope to support the school administration in fostering the exemplary growth of our children in the Catholic Faith.
