Advent Prayer Lord of Light and Hope, As we enter this season of Advent, open our hearts to Your coming. Awaken in us a longing for Your presence, a hunger for Your peace, and a readiness for Your love. Slow our steps and quiet our minds, that we may notice the signs of Your grace hidden in our ordinary days. Strengthen us to prepare a way for You— in our homes, in our communities, and in the secret places of our hearts. Come, Lord Jesus. Shine in our darkness, bring healing to our wounds, and teach us to wait with joyful hope. May Your light guide us, Your love hold us, and Your peace rest upon us this Advent and always. Amen.
