Hello! It's almost time to welcome you to Young Voices 2026!
Extra information:
Children will come to school in their normal school uniform on Thursday 15th January. We have bought our pupils T- shirts to design for the event, which will be designed and decorated this week, ready to wear for the concert.
Y5 Children will eat their original packed lunch/hot dinner in school before we leave on the coach for BP Pulse Arena midday. Please send your child into school with an extra/suitable packed lunch and drink for their tea later on in the early evening. No Nuts please! All children will be supervised throughout the day to the toilet facilities at the Arena.
IMPORTANT - Departing from the Venue: We will send out a text message via our system when we leave the coach car park. Please arrange for collection of your child from school and not from BP Pulse, due to limited light and safety. Due to safety reasons, we strongly advise that your child is collected by parent, carer or family member who is not attending the concert, whom will be at school at 9.15pm to receive pupils straight from the coach. If this is not feasible, please leave the venue before/during the last performance to allow plenty of time to avoid traffic delays.

As the concert runs late into the evening, for those children performing, we will keep the register open until 10am on the Friday morning; so don't worry if you sleep in, as long as you are here for 10am, you will not get a late mark.
Once we are at the venue and know seating arrangements, a text will be sent out via our system on the day. You will be able to see our school banner. The children have worked extremely hard to practise, we hope you will be proud of them shining out on stage, just as we are. We look forward to seeing you there!

On Thursday 15th January 2026 Year five will be part of a choir of up to 9,000 other children at Resorts Arena, Birmingham. Over the course of the academic year, children will be learning many songs.
The official Young Voices T-Shirt can be purchased online, but it is not compulsory (a plain white top will suffice). A invite will be sent to all parents which enables you to book your tickets and purchase t-shirts. More information will be given at the Parents Welcome Meeting TBC
