Independent Maths Task

Today's learning is all about adding two numbers together by making 10 first, and then adding on what is left. Watch the video below or work through the powerpoint and then have a go at completing the questions on the worksheet. If you really understand this you can have a go at the challenge too!

There is a tens frame template attached if children need to use it to help them work out the answers. They could use household objects as counters, such as sweets, Cheerios, beads or pebbles.

Religious Education

Today we will be learning all about the parable of the Good Samaritan. Do you know what a parable is? A parable is a story that Jesus told, to teach us an important lesson.

If you are unable to access the Teams lesson, take a look at the powerpoint below and then complete the worksheet (you can choose which page to complete), thinking about how you could be a Good Samaritan. Use the word mat to help you with your writing.
