THE BIG Y6 SLEEP OVER!

Unfortunately due to COVID we have had to cancel the Y6 trip to Astley Burf. But this year we can’t let our wonderful Y6 children leave OLSK without doing something to celebrate as a family.  The staff have put their heads together and come up with

THE BIG Y6 SLEEP OVER!

On Friday 9th July the Y6 children will leave school as usual at 3:15 but return with their sleepover items at 6pm. We will have an evening of fun and games in forest school, the playground and the field. We’ll have pizza for tea, settle down with a movie in the hall and then sleep there for the night!

In the morning we will provide them with some breakfast before parents come to collect them at 9:30am!

There will be a cost of £10 for the evening which can be made through School Money.

If children choose to take part then they will stay in school for the whole evening. We will not be able to accommodate children who wish to leave before bedtime.

Children will need to bring their pyjamas, toothbrush, sleeping bag and pillow. We will get the PE mats out for them to sleep on but if they want to bring a camping mat of their own to sleep on, they can. Please make sure that all items are labelled with names!

We are not allowing phones or electronic devices to be brought in. Staff will take photos for the class webpage and Twitter. Children with inhalers should ensure that they have them in school.

Please complete the consent form and hand it back into Miss Meese by Friday 25th June so that we can cater for numbers. We hope that all of the children in Y6 will enjoy this evening and want to take part so that they can finish their time at OLSK with a lovely evening of making lasting memories together.
