This afternoon we joined Matt Pritchard for his amazing ‘Science Magic Show.’ We were fascinated as he created optical illusions and saw how he used his knowledge of forces to balance everyday items.

Today we explored the story of Pentecost using drama. We thought about how the disciples must have felt before, during and after they received the Holy Spirit.

Our Holy Communion Display

We had fun today wearing our PJ’s and snuggled up with our favourite reads!

We absolutely loved our live session with Horrible Histories illustrator Martin Brown. He taught us techniques for drawing faces and we all had a go at drawing Henry VIII

Number Day in Year 3. We had a fun filled day with lots of number related activities.

Year 3 mass to honour Mary in the month of May. What a beautiful mass lead very reverently by the children. We crowned Mary with flowers.

In Our EBL topic about Mediterranean Countries - We have been looking at a map of Europe to find out where there are mountains. We looked for areas on the map that were yellow/ brown colour.

Year 3 Art Day - we looked at a painting called ‘The Lamb’ by Paul Klee. We used wax crayons to colour over the curvy lines in our ‘Holy Eucharist’ picture and then painted each section with water colour paint.

In Science we are investigating how much water plants need to be healthy. We hope our seeds grow into healthy radish plants!
