As it is Children's Mental Health Week, if you like to express yourself through any kind of physical activity such as dancing, gymnastics or sports such as football, karate, basketball etc. or any other kind of physical activity, then spend the PE session today expressing yourself through your chosen physical activity. Don't forget to ask an adult to take photos and upload them onto Teams so that we can celebrate the different ways we all choose to express ourselves
If you are not doing physical activity as a way of expressing yourself for Children's Mental Health Week there is a PE lesson below that you can follow for this week's PE. Make sure you are supervised by an adult. Alternatively, you can do a Joe Wicks workout, Just Dance or Cosmic Yoga, as long as you are getting active.
Children will be involved in activities to practise running and jumping skills, and will improve accuracy throwing from a standing position. Please note this lesson will require some physical exercise and additional equipment, beyond a pen, pencil or paper. Please see the equipment slide near the start of the lesson video and make sure your child is adequately supervised when equipment is required. Parents and carers are responsible for ensuring that children follow the correct safety advice provided at the start of this lesson and the instructions the teacher gives during the lesson. Parents and carers are responsible for supervising activities where required and for seeking medical advice in advance if your child has a medical condition that may prevent them taking part in physical activity.
