For the past few weeks we have been thinking about fractions in our maths lessons, and when we think of fractions we think of pizza!
Join us at school today on Screen-free Friday and make Pitta Pizzas. The recipe is as follows:-
Wholemeal pitta breads.
Tomato puree or a tin of chopped tomatoes.
Mixed Italian Herbs.
Other toppings of your own choice for example, sliced tomatoes, sweetcorn, peppers, mushrooms, onion, ham, cooked chicken, cooked bacon, pineapple, chedder cheese.
Slice the Motzerella cheese,
Prepare your extra toppings, for instance, chop your veg into small pieces. If you are using chicken or bacon cook before adding to your pizza.
Pour some chopped tomatoes or tomato puree onto your pitta and spread ensuring all of the pitta
Place on the sliced cheese.
Add your chosen toppings.
If you wish, add a sprinkle of grated chedder cheese.
Sprinkle with Italian herbs.
Grill on a baking tray for 10 minutes or bake in an oven for 12 minutes until the cheese has fully melted.
