Celebrating our Feast Day
19th March is st Joseph's day. St Joseph is our class saint. We think about how loving, caring and hardworking he was and ask him to pray for us. We celebrated our feast day by creating an altar to St Joseph and saying special prayers for our families. Miss Costello joined us for a cake and a drink.
We have made our own Lenten promises. We are thinking about how we can be more like Jesus. As a class we have promised to think more about others. One of the ways we do this is 'giving a smile' to someone else.
Sponsored Space hop! We are planning to 'hop about' to raise money for Cafod on Monday 3rd April. See https://www.our-lady.dudley.sch.uk/general/
BE A BUDDY
We are an anti-bullying school. We talk about how to be a 'buddy'; about how to be a good friend to everyone and to think about how we treat others. We look to Jesus and follow his example on how to treat each other.
Don't be a bully.

We are focusing on different types of movement in PE, such as moving like different animals around and under the parachute abs along and under benches.
We are focusing on strengthening our fingers, developing our pencil grip and improving our letter formation.
Ideas to help at home:
Dont forget dough disco! What's your favourite song to get those fingers dancing? We like using Can't stop the feeling by Justin Timberlake.

Planting herbs and spring flowers
We have planted beans in clear plastic cups so we can watch the shoot sprout out of the bean. We have been learning about life cycles, focusing on the life cycle of a bean. We have linked this to our previous knowledge of the life cycle of a butterfly and The Hungry Caterpillar.
