Thursday 2nd May 2019

Today we learnt the story of the two women who went to visit Jesus' tomb and were greeted by an angel who told them that Jesus had risen. We took it in turns to interview our partner who was pretending to be one of the women, and ask them questions about the events of Easter Sunday and how they were feeling.

Class Reflection

The prayer of St Francis of Assisi

St Francis of Assisi is our class saint. We explored the outdoor area, then wrote prayers based on his Canticle of Creation, praising God for everything He made!

Prayer Day - 16.11.18

We started this wonderful day with some silent reflection time, listening to some beautiful, calming music and thinking about our loved ones and anyone we know who might need our prayers. We then read the story of the Footprints in the Sand and wrote our own prayers to the Lord, thanking him for always being by our side and picking us up during hard times. After that we learnt part of the song 'Footprints in the Sand' by Leona Lewis, which the children sang beautifully! What a lovely day we've had.
