Celebrating the Easter Story

We've really enjoyed performing 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' with Michael Rosen...and Mrs Finnegan! Why don't you have a go at home?

Settling in at School

We would like to welcome our new children and their families to Reception Class at OLSK.

We are very excited about the year of learning, growing and adventures we have ahead of us.

Here is a reminder of the intake over the next two and a half weeks.

Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th September:

Your child will either come to the morning session (8.55-11.30) or the afternoon session (12.55-3.15). Your child's session is on your paperwork, but please chat to us if you have any queries.

Monday 7th-Friday 11th September:

All children are invited to come to school everyday from 8:50-11:45am

Monday 14th-Friday 18th September:

All children are invited to come to school everyday from 8:50-12.30. The children will have lunch at school this week.

A brief checklist

  • It is advisable to send your child to school with a coat everyday, due to our unpredictable weather.
  • Children in Reception Class are asked to bring in a labelled bottle of water every day.
  • It is recommended that your child has a book bag which will be used to put letters and reading books in. These can be purchased from the school office.
  • A school PE kit in a separate bag needs to be sent into school with your child over the next few weeks. It will remain on their peg until half term.
Parent meetings with Mrs Mitchell start on Tuesday 8th September. If you can not remember your appointment time or have not yet booked an appointment please see Mrs Mitchell or Mrs Barber.
